Forum Membership: An Open Invitation to Lead
The
UPnP™ Forum is open to any company interested in
making home networking easy for users and a great opportunity for their
organizations. UPnP Forum membership offers the following
opportunities:
- Leadership. Design and
drive the device descriptions for your industry's products and services and
the products with which they will interact.
- Leverage your
assets. Ensure
that your legacy products and new products can talk and interact
dynamically on UPnP network.
- Learn more. Gain a broad understanding of
UPnP technology and its opportunities for your products and industry.
- Leverage Forum market
development.
Gain access to UPnP Forum events including Plugfest compatibility workshops,
UPnP Partner Pavilions at major trade shows, use of the UPnP logo, and
public relations support.
- Find partners. Interact with and leverage the
resources of the large, diverse group of organizations actively creating and
investing in UPnP technology.

Steps
Thank
you for your interest in the
UPnP™ Forum. In order to
become a member of the
UPnP™ Forum, please
complete the three steps listed below.
All three steps must be completed before membership can
be processed.
Step
1.
Sign the
UPnP™ Forum Membership Agreement
and mail two (2) signed originals of the agreement in their entirety to the
following address:

Please enclose a business card. Please note we do NOT return
a counter-signed agreement to you. We retain both signed originals in our
files.

(Note: Effective November 5, 2002, the Steering Committee ratified an amendment to the UPnP Forum Agreement.)

("Steering Committee") of the UPnP FORUM MEMBERSHIP
AGREEMENT was amended to add additional provisions relating to the process for
filling vacant Steering Committee seats between regular
elections.)
Step
2.
Fax a complete, signed agreement to Karen Reff at 1.503.644.6708.
Step
3.
Fill out the Membership Registration
Form to designate a primary representative to the Forum for your company, tell us more about your company and which working
committees you are interested in joining.
NOTE TO CURRENT MEMBERS: Please direct inquiries regarding access to the members-only portion of the web site, subscription to Forum reflectors and all other inquiries of an administrative nature to
upnpadmin@forum.upnp.org. This form is intended for use as part of the new member application process only. To determine if your company is a member of the Forum please see the current membership list.
Once you
have completed all three steps, and after we have received the signed original Membership Agreements in the mail, you will
receive within ten business days your online welcome letter and an invitation to
join each of the working committees you have indicated interest in.
Changes to your personal profile? Once
you have become a
UPnP™ Forum Member, you may update your member profile any
time in the future, should it change. To update your
personal information, select: Update
Membership Profile.
- To log-in, input your e-mail
address and password.
- Click
log-in. Edit as needed.
- Click
update. Your changes will be saved.
Note: The information you provide will be
used only to send you notices about information related to the UPnP initiative. This information will not be shared with any other
organizations for any purpose.
